Was thinking about registering imageshack.is and checked the price..

It costs $190 in registration costs and then $120 in annual cost..

this means that it costs $310 to register a name for a year , $430 for two years and etc.

I think it was $1200.oo for one character
$800.oo for two character,
and something like $250.00 or $300.oo for three character.

Its not dynadot that sets the pricing. The .ws registry has set those prices and the renewals are the same as well..

The most overrated extension is .mobi.

over rated.. .is only has a possible market of 300.000..

if .is is $310 then .cn should cost $1.343.333 in registration cost
(300.000 live in Iceland and 1.300.000.000 in China)

I think that the 1-char domains are not truly live sites. If you type anything [dot] .ws you get similar ads.

mobi is hyped, but it cant be named the most "overrated extention" just because of that...cant even be named the most "overhyped" yet... we have to wait and see what becomes of this hype (longer than 6 months guys).. IF it turns out to be huge, then the hype would have been well justified in hindsight.. if it is somewhere in the middle or a complete flop - it can THEN be named overrated or overhyped.. and yes, quite possibly the MOST overrated and overhyped if it doesnt turn out to be as big as "its supposed to be"
