not possible to register .US

Does anyone know where I can register some .us domains? I'm from europe and not living in USA. Is there a way for me to register us domains?

Although I believe you have to be a US citizen as this is a rule set by the registry itself and not the registrar.

You could use CentralNIC, as you can register any int'l domain from them, and their site is clean and professional.

Hmm, I see alot of people registering .us names even though they are not US citizens...

What's the risk? Personally I dont think anyone not in compliance with the .us guidelines will make money from registering a valuable and available .us domain because of the legal implications.

If you have business contact with the US this also allows you to register .US (that's my way around it and it was okayed as my business interests proved local {US} connection).
