Not worth bothering with, invest in .in.
If anything .co.in will become less saturated as companies move over to .in.

For sure .net.in is one to avoid wasting money on.
actually, I've found co.in to be less saturated than .in, atleast for the good names (all the best names have already been taken...)

.co.in is mostly used for commercial sites in india where as .in is used by corporates(if they are not going with .com).
So if have a good names with .in then you may expect some gud returns
