Benelux Auction Coming March 11th - 18th

This March the fifth edition of the Benelux Auction will take place!

The auction will begin on Thursday March 11 at 18.00 CET / 12.00 P.M. EST ending on Thursday March 18 at 18.00 CET / 12.00 P.M. EST. Submissions are now being accepted for this auction. Please ensure to submit your domains before the close of the submission period on February 22 at 18.00 CET / 12.00 P.M. EST.

Auction Criteria

Domains may be approved for this Benelux Auction if they:

• are Dutch and ending at either .nl or .be
• are short, easy-to-remember, real words or phrases found in the dictionary and/or everyday conversation are generic, with appeal to a broad audience
• are easy to spell and not prone to typographical errors when typed into a browser’s address bar
• are product-related with a high commercial value
• are not in potential violation of any third party rights, such as trademarks, intellectual property, or other famous names are comprised of words or phrases with high search result return counts

Domains may be submitted through your sedo-account. Once logged into your account, go to the "My sedo" section then "My Domains". Select the domains you would like to submit and click on ‘Apply for Benelux Auction’ from the drop-down-menu. You will receive a response within three business days of your submission.

I have trouble finding the special auction inventory page on the new sedo site. For the BeNeLux auction you can find it here:

I did not understand sedo. The call it BeNeLux auction, but accept only .be and .nl, and do not accept .lu (Luxembourg tld). I have domain Text.lu, which did not qualify to this auction. No comments.

They want domains in Dutch only. But French is spoken in Belgium too.
