I don't think there is a 32 day restriction, as long as the domain is parked when an offer comes in. I've acquired a domain, placed it on sedo, and sent it to auction all in the same week and i only had to pay the 10%.
If you are new to domains and looking to buy, sell and learn about domains then you have come to the right place. DNForum is the largest domain name community on the internet and continues to grow every day. There are over 105,000 domainers on DNForum doing everything from buying domains, selling domains, learning about domains and discussing domains. Take a minute and Register.
Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I inquired at sedo support recently and asked how I would avoid their minimum $50 fee when selling domains via auction.
I received this reply:
"Parking a domain for at least 32 days prior to a sale should cause the minimum commission ($50 US for the most common TLDs) to be waived."
3 days later I inquired again on the same matter.
The answer was:
"There is no 32 day restriction. As long as the domain is parked before you receive any offers, you will not be charged the minimum fee."
Two different replies to the same question.
Can anybody share which is correct?
Thank you!

lotk.com's answer is correct.
If you sell a domain for $60 through sedo what amount do you keep?
You keep $54 ($60 - 10%) as long as the domain was parked at sedo.
See my domains, grouped by category, at BetterDomains.net - reseller offers welcome!
Follow me at Facebook or Twitter - I'm "BetterDomains" at both places.
So, that sedo support person pulled "32" out of thin air and created new TOS.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to offer clarification on this topic because there seems to be some miscommunication. Sedo does have a policy in place where if a domain is verifiably parked with us for at least 32 days the minimum fee can be waived. This is a benefit offered to those members who participate in our parking program.
Please note this waiver does not apply to all extensions. For a list of applicable extensions please visit our FAQ.
We understand there are times when it is not possible for the domain to be parked with us for 32 days prior to the sale. In lotk.com's post he referred to a domain he listed, parked and accepted an offer on within the same week. In a case like that it would have been impossible for him to park the domain for 32 days so an exception was most likely made.
If you feel as though you are eligible for this waiver please contact your Transfer Specialist.
If you have any questions please PM us here or contact us at www.support.sedo.com.
Thanks,
Lisa
