SmartName Welcome!

I submitted 2 applications to Smartname and one to Activeaudience on 3 separate occasions, ALL were declined with NO explanation what so ever. I wrote back each time kindly asking why and my emails were completely ignored, I emailed again and they were again ignored. Having never been declined by a Parking service before, I was very surprised, shocked when you consider the domains I submitted.

Ignoring emails is NOT good business practice, Just look at what they did, It earned them this negative post and potentially discouraged others to apply.

I dont think buying your way in is the right approach, no account is worth that unless your planning to use it for other means. And its kinda hard to ask other members to vouch for you, who dont much about you.

I believe SmartName is the same ownership (and same feed?) as ActiveAudience, GoldKey, Afternic and BuyDomains, right?

Unfortunately, I never had success with any of them (but never used SmartName).

^ My experience with AA is quite the opposite - I find their support quite helpful and communicative, the revenue for some types of names is up 300%, their reporting and graph tools are superb. JMO

Is there any advantage to going with ActiveAudience over SmartName? ?

I was wondering how the two compare as well... Have AA account and may apply for SmartName today/tomorrow

Well Well Well , I myself never success with namemedia system . Low CRT , bad CPC and poor support services .

what would be a fair amount of time...to test to see if a parking company is working for your domain ?

I think the matter is not of how much time, but of how much traffic. A domain that gets 1 click a day, could take you a couple of weeks. A domain that gets 100 clicks a day, you'll know in a day or two as reports finalize.

with people leaving parking in droves i was wondering if smartname actually wanted new customers?
as have a load of names at parked and have to say time to leave and try someone else
