I have several pms and a couple emails so far and hope to put up a page with the updated offers soon. I'm trying to respond to a couple offers on the group and that might end it early.

What's their registar and expiration dates?
Almost all expire in May of 2005. A few are with GoDaddy and most with Bluehill. All free transfer/or push. These were landrush pickups.Originally Posted by MissFlora

We will be selling a number of other landrush pickups in alternative extensions soon, and all will be set at a best offer with small minimum. Instead of going back and forth on these, we think it's best to just let the domainer secondary market set the current price.

The original post - which you edited - mentioned that these will be sold "auction style" over the weekend. Why the change in the sale format and closing date?
Another reason for the posts not to be editable after 1 hour; instead, anyone can edit any post they made at any time after.
The following post was also made not long after:-
Also please note that auctions cannot be held in this forum, even if the seller originally claims the sale is an auction - auctions may only be held in the dedicated auction forum.I have several pms and a couple emails so far and hope to put up a page with the updated offers soon. I'm trying to respond to a couple offers on the group and that might end it early.

Thanks Mr Webname. I was somehow expecting a process similar to the one about the .US names last time.
Just out of curosity, how much did you sell ong.biz? that is such an awesome domain. Aww..

Thanks for the clarification Mr Webname. For the members wondering, I'm well aware of the rules here at DNF and this was a sale looking for the best offers over a set minimum per name. There was NO auction deadline time posted. It was also stated that I could close the sale upon receiving an acceptable offer for 1 name or for the group. That is exactly what happened. Several motivated buyers asked that I accept their bulk offer and close the sale. I accepted one and closed the sale.Originally Posted by Mr Webname
It was placed in the correct forum. The reason for the rule on no multi-forum auctions at DNF was the problems created with the differing timestamps and determining which was the correct deadline time and last bidder at whichever main forum.
Sales using an independent auction such as ebay or equivalent are often posted in this forum. Unless I'm mistaken, the Auction forum here is for exclusively DNF auctions.
We have a number of sales of landrush pickups coming up and we will sometimes use the accept best offer format as these 3 letter biz or we will use an independent auction such as ebay or our own script such as the 3 letter us names sale. We're working on a script to automate that soon so it will record the bidder and the offer and allow immediate updates. Until then we're stuck with using emails and pms which on block sales makes it difficult at best to handle all the responses.
The reason for the deletions at the sales end is to protect the privacy of the buyer whos interest is in NOT publishing his purchase price. I keep a copy of the original post and can always address questions if required. We've been doing it a long time here, are one of the largest volume sellers averaging several hundred names per month, and we try our hardest to do it right.
