Radistar,
Why don't you start a new thread. And, ask the mods. to delete this one.
Nah, that's not a problem. I understand that there has been an exchange of various comments but all is cool between MilkyLicker and I.
The problem in general was never comments in sales threads. This board is for discussion and comments are what make it work.
The problem? Nasty comments and gratutitous questions such as "That domain's not worth it" or "What are you smoking?" are the type of things which destroy sales threads and should be prohibited.
Legitimate questions about TMs or traffic seem to be very relevant to sales, and should be allowed, in my opinion. People shouldn't be forced to buy a Pig-in-the-poke, and that is just what will happen if there can be no discussion.
I disagree Hal, and I say that respectfully because you are well-known and we have also conducted business in the recent past.
Anyone with an iota of common sense & Internet knowledge can conduct their own search - to even suggest or hint that there might be issues, especially when there are none, is a guaranteed sale destruction.
A few days ago a 3-letter .com domain was posted for sale; there was a UDRP decision and lawsuit against the former owners. I found that out and my message was relayed to the seller - not on the thread but via PM. The way I am sensitive about such things, I expect others to be; courtesy is something that one can - and in domain forums pertaining to sales should - be trained for.
That been said, I request to stay on topic from now on. Thanks.

It isn't always easy to research a particular name, although buyers should exercise good judgment, CAVEAT EMPTOR.
However, in my opinion, sellers shouldn't hide pertinent adverse facts: UDRPs, trademarks, lawsuits, threats of legal action, etc..
OK, let's talk about destruction. Allowing sellers to hide such adverse material facts... does that totally destroy community trust? I think it does.
If it is OK to hide material adverse facts that are known to the seller, basically, you can't trust any seller on the board. Obfuscation is OK.
Is that really what we want?
The point is, there is nothing to hide. Period.
MilkyLicker posted a link to Adult Entertainment Network's URL and a "TM Issue?" statement. He did not research it and if he did, he'd see there is no TM for "AEN".
It's akin to posting "I am not an elephant" pre-emptively.
Again, as the seller I am asking for the commentary to end. Enough already.
Let's get back to the sale guys all is cool between the two who originally had a misunderstanding, there is no need for anyone to rekindle the flames.
I am not accusing you. I am merely taking advantage of the opportunity to make a general point about sales threads. Please forgive me for intruding.
Good luck with your sale, Radistar.
