This is a valuable domain name. I was suggested to sell it for $5000 minimum but I think $1000 would be a good starting price. I didn't expect people to be "playing games". So if you want to make a legitimate offer then post. Othewise, proceed to another thread...
Minimum bid $1000
Well the term is "debt" collection not bill collections .. Proven by the extremely low overture scores for the term ..This is a valuable domain name
And google is showing very low results for this term at about 4000 ..
Question - how much traffic does the name produce.. Because "value" can/should be quantified by amount of traffic a name generates..
.
This is not an appraisal thread. The member set a minimum offer of $ 1,000 and it does not matter about traffic for the "value". That is the member's minimum offer they will accept. Take it or leave it.................nothing else really matters.

Where are you getting the $5000 dollar figure from?
Do you have Traffic states or income stats
If you could show me why its worth at least $1000 starting bid , I would bve interested
Joe
huh ???? Sure it matters .. Asking how much traffic a name gets in a sales thread if anything is common practice and "standard procedure" ..DigitalChanges-The member set a minimum offer of $ 1,000 and it does not matter about traffic for the "value"
I just sold Wintercoats.com this past week in a sales thread on a domain board for $xx,xxx.. And a potential buyer asked me about traffic.. I answered - it's simple ..
The seller here said this name is a "rare treasure" .. I want to know how that is. Is it the traffic ? If so, just show it .. It's a simple question that is common on domain selling boards..

"Rare Treasure" = Value
Can someone please show us the value..
He also said "someone " said I should sell it for $5000 , WHo was that ?
All I am asking is for the "Rare Treasure" To show its Value.
Or
Maybe we are working on that old saying
"One mans Junk is another Man's Treasure"
Just a thought/

sedo and seeing that someone wants $1,500 for something like 'antiqueradiostation1.net', etc. There also needs to be the perception, at least, that there may be a bargain available. As an example, I sold 'BillCollections.COM' here for $35 and then saw it on ebay with a $100,000 opening bid! I sort of doubt that anyone actually bid on that domain name. If it had had a reserve of $50, who knows, it may have ended up selling for $83 and actually made the seller a good profit.Originally Posted by MovieDomains
Does this mean that it sold for 35 bux, as you showed us that post
Holy Cow , Maybe I am not reading this right?
or am I?

Come on, folks. Either bid, ask a legitimate question, or leave. This negative banter in a sales thread is uncalled for.
FWIW, a 30x markup on domains is not completely uncommon -- it's called profit, and while hard to come by, it's a fact of life. Rare finds have been known to be bought and sold on this board for similar amounts. I myself was on the losing end of one of these markups, and I never look back -- I sold a domain on this board for $20 back in December, at is was immediately resold on this same board for about ~$700 (I can't remember the exact amount). This happens. Get over it. And stop crapping in other peoples' sales threads. I'm so sick of this I'm ready to start my own sales site just to give domainers a place to sell their inventory without having to put up with this lunacy.

With all due respect one has to realize buyers have EVERY right to ask questions to a seller such as- "how much traffic is a name receiving" .. or income the name receives??..Originally Posted by FLe8

It works both ways buddy.

Don't be so defensive, Sarah. Those questions are fine. But that's not all that's going on in this thread. Bringing to light how much the domain sold for previously ("Does this mean that it sold for 35 bux"), making sarcastic statements ("rare treasure indeed"), criticizing the domain ("Well the term is "debt" collection not bill collections .."), and intentionally devaluing domains ("Proven by the extremely low overture scores for the term .. And google is showing very low results for this term at about 4000") is simply considered bad form in a sales thread. If they wanted the domain appraised, they would post in the appraisals section. This is a sales forum -- designed for offers, questions, and the conducting of business.Originally Posted by Sarah
Sorry to take up so much space in your sale, ais. I just hate seeing sales thread go to pot because people think it's their right to openly criticize the domains being sold. IMHO, it's really beginning to get out of hand.

Anyone Who Is Not Bidding $1000 Min On This Domain Shouldnt Be Here Including Me, If You Want Traffic Info, Etc. You Should Pm The Seller..stop With The Bs.
I'm buying credit, banking, loan, insurance related generics in .com, .net, .org with high search volumes/traffic. Will consider typos too! - PLEASE PM with name, info, & asking price!
The is no minimum offer stated, those of you telling others their offers are too low are going to get warnings if you don't stop!
