Interesting thread - but, unfortunately, not in a positive way. So, here's my 2-cents...
I can believe the traffic. I have dealt with UncleWilco on several occasions - good man. Also, the domain still has decent numbers in Marketleap: 45 inbound links with www and 18 without. So the traffic is probably there because a LOT of people out there are looking for this "type" of site. It is in a popular genre.
