I am simply offering more chances to both to sell these names.
I am not selling YOUR name, that's stupid, I cannot sell something I dot own.
I am saying to the potential buyer that if he buys YOUR name and MY name then he will save 5K, because I will accept to just earn 10K for that name in exchange of the increase of chances to sell the name.
By the way you shpuld checkyour mailbox because I sent you note just after posting my thread saying that if you do not want to split these 5K savings there is no problem I will deduct it fully from my own earnings.
Of what I now I am not doing absolutely nothing that is not legal nor that is unfair, at the inverse I think I am really helping you, because it make sense for a buyer to own both.

you may not be doing anything illegal however, it's his domain name. You should have received his permission prior to making this post. Your post suggest there's some sort of arrangement between you and the other party. It's not about legality but of good taste and sound practice and in my opinion, this was bad taste and bad practice. Don't assume someone wants a favor.
I would have done it before...
Do not list the name that you do not own.
