I'm new in this subforum and after reading the rules I assume I can mention an auction for a name of mine that is on auction at Afternic. I have to sell it through there since the reserve has been met and I'm committed now.

This is a real opportunity for anyone here to possibly quickly make around a $1,000 on the name. My name, HillaryAlert.com is selling on Afternic right now with a BIN price of $900; the reserve of $450 has been met, and $475 is the next offer.

But here is the interesting part. Afternic's Recent Sales page shows that HillaryWatch.com just sold for $1,750 just two days ago! HillaryWatch.com or HillaryAlert.com, not much difference. Plus, I'm also giving HillaryAlert.org with it!

I really should not have sold this before the election cycle actually begins. The name would have been worth much, much more had I waited a year of two. But, I wanted to test something on Afternic.com--accepting a reserve price in order to pop the name in the Ending Soon box on Afternic's front page. When I got the $450 bid, I set the reserve price at $450. I'm committed now. I was feeling good about it until I saw the $1,750 sale! Arghh!

Anyway, my loss is someone's gain here, if they want it.
