I think it is a good idea. Don't know for other extensions, but .ca seems to be a popular place on the forum.
If you are new to domains and looking to buy, sell and learn about domains then you have come to the right place. DNForum is the largest domain name community on the internet and continues to grow every day. There are over 105,000 domainers on DNForum doing everything from buying domains, selling domains, learning about domains and discussing domains. Take a minute and Register.

I am considering reorganizing the way we view cctld's on dnforum by placing them under one roof.
What I mean is having a main section called:
.ca domain names - Canada
with the following sub forums:
.ca Domain Sales
.ca Domain Discussions
.ca TBR - Expired Domains
.ca Registrars / Dropcatchers reviews
.ca Rules of Ownership
.ca Geo Domains - Other extensions
.ca Legal section
If this works, all ccTLD sections will be redone.
Please feel free to suggest more or less sections.
How would you like to see it setup?

if only ICANN knew what words you use to describe their extensions.
It'll make things more organized, so I say go for it. Try making the .ca section a pilot project
Soon everyone with $185,000 will be able to register their own extension LINK, so will need to create a new section for each of these. It is better to start organizing it now, than later.
I thought that a lot of inactive subforums on DNF would be removed.
NameNewsletter.com - free lists of available domain names
ZoneFiles.net (beta) - ccTLD and gTLD droplists
I think the way you describe above is a great way to structure the .ca section. It will keep it tidy and a bit more focused. Let me know if you need any help.
Can we have similar forum for ".com"?
EG: .com discussion, etc. It would honestly be really useful to me since I mainly participate in the .com sector.

Sounds good, maybe use the .ca as a test and see if its adapting well enough to move on with others. All those topics look right but one may be a dog.
Makes sense.

I like the idea, under the .ca Canada section you could also add a subsection like "Canada related domains in other extensions" or "Canada GEOs - other extensions".
This would be for .com, .net and other extensions where the domain might be of particular interest to Canadians - like TorontoHomes.net or VancouverStores.org. These sometimes get lost in other sales sections.
Also maybe a ".ca Legal Help" section
