AOL Canada Inc. takes engadget.ca while being rebuffed in getting the luxist.ca and weblogsinc.ca domain registrations.
Notable here is that the trade mark registration at CIPO for engadget was only on December 4, 2008, with formal approval granted on August 19, 2010.
Since it seems no one even read the file, the registrants just did not respond. If they had even given a coherent one-page reply they might have kept their domain registration.
