Country: | What are most of you doing with your .ca registrations or tbr grabs? Parking mostly?
I'm developing as fast as I can - even if it's just a five page website to start. Some from the past few weeks tbr sessions you might recognize: www.serialkillers.ca www.downtowneastside.ca www.registryrepair.ca
So many I get outbid for just end up parked. Makes me mad because I know they will make so much more with anything but a parked page! |

and time for development isn't abundant ...
out of the last 1/2 dozen purchases I have developed a couple, sold a couple and parked a couple.
The parked ones are .ca typo's that really wouldn't justify development but are actually more than earning there keep being parked. Sometimes parking just makes more sense. |

Do you pay a monthly fee for each site, or do you pay a flat fee to host unlimited sites? I use a homestead sitebuilder which allows me to build unlimited sites/pages, for a flat annual fee of about $100. The only thing is I have to point my domains to the pages, it costs extra for each domain to be linked to each site. Just wondering what other options are out there. |

And remember - if you have lots of websites put them on more than one server! That way if anything happens to one, you are still making money! |

| re: homebusiness dot ca - Thanks for the comments - I will think about putting the price in the journal but will check with the seller first.

Country: | Nice catches zoobar - three of the four were on my list. All I got was the one from the bottom of my list - medical assistant.
Sibername did well for themselves today.
With extra cash in hand from not getting much via the tbr I fresh regged:
fatgirl.ca
sexcartoon.ca
politicalparty.ca - will be website by tomorrow
With .ca's total registration at nearly 900,000 it's getting pretty hard to find anything that has high ovt, or potential for type-in traffic.

Country: | GDay Fellow DNFers and Canuckers!
I know I've posted the following .ca name before, but I thought I would give an update to my progress and 'showcase' the power and success of the .ca extension.
After catching Scenery.ca on drop, adding a script to host media, adding some media and keywords - it is now #1 in Google for the keyword 'scenery' http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=scenery&meta=
One minute the site was low-key (it still shows as a PR1 site) when by chance I typed 'scenery' into Google (I was trying to type 'scenery.ca') - only to my surprise, see Scenery.ca @ the top! ...and to be honest, not exactly sure why other than to assume its because of the amount of content (100s of pics n vids w/ sparring descriptions added; which I continue to add too).
I still consider myself very much (forever) a Newbie and thought others may have similar experiences they could share, as it appears .ca is on the up-and-up in the world. I love reading this thread and hearing about how .ca continues to grow.
Best success in all your endeavours!
Viva .ca!!
