Someone overpaid for Zar big time...less for production but still overpriced.
How do these things work? I tried it out for the first time lasts week by signing up ay MYid and placing a $25 bid on a LLL (I knew it wouldn't win, just testing it out), but I never got an email saying that my bid wasn't the winner.
Are only the winners notified?
Each company is different - even though you put in a bid for the name it doesn't mean the company will get it in the drop on Wednesday, and if the company didn't "catch" the name you wont' get any emails about it. As well, some companies do advanced auction style bidding (ie Namepros) while others do their auctions post-drop (ie. Pool). Read these forums...there's more info on how things work.
Cheers!

It is worth at least $1000 reseller... and $xx,xxx easily for an end user.
It is worth about $800. More than that and the lawyers will simply go at it.

Maybe you guys are not understanding the purpose of ccTLD's in the future.
People type .ca instead of .com in canada. Therefore websites that are states / countries / capital cities are valuable in the future. Also, montanas and montana are restaurants. There are many restaurants/clubs/bars with the name "Montana" in them. The end users are there.
Google canada for the name Montana results in over 8 million results.
That's very untrue. Explain why my capital cities in countries get traffic.
Maybe you need to do more research...
I guess you didn't read my post well enough. Down the road...less and less people will be typing .com ....ask yourself why?
It is not a small minority. I have cities that receive more traffic than generic products. It's just a fact...people will be typing their own extension before the .com. Especially if they are looking for deals within Canada. Why would i want to type in montana.com? when i can type in montana.ca and get deals within Canada?
