URGENT - .ca expiry date and selling the domain

Hey guys - need some fast help on this

I have 17 domains a guy is interested in and they all expire on March 31, 2010.

There are all at NamesPro if this helps.

Obviously I do not want to pay the renewal fees if I don't have to - do .ca's have a "redemption" period or anything so that I can get this sale done without having to renew the domains??

Any comments are much appreciated!

You can still renew them during that period.

Correct and during this 30 days suspended status ...you can still renew or transfer the domains, do not wait unit the last day ...geesh

those midnight transfers can backfire!!! if you go over the 30 days Hello TBR!!!

Ok thanks guys - so I can still transfer the domain after the expiry date during the 30 day window.

That's exactly what I needed to know - I was going to drop all these domains then this morning I got an inquiry and I really don't want to fork out renewal fees just so I can complete the sale since I was going to drop them anyways.

I can get it done in 30 days no probs I just wanted to know if I had a cushion since expiry date is in 2 days.

It's a great feature, to be able to transfer a domain in the 30 day suspended period, without having to renew the domain yourself.
