What to do with this domain...

I know it is obvious the use for ChristmasShopping dot ca but I am wanting some feedback on what others think. Should I set it up where people submit their own products or should I source out the products myself? Possibly set it up for affiliate sales? A big part of me is thinking out loud but I was hoping to get some feedback from other members and possibly get some ideas I haven't thought about.

I think affiliate is the way to go. Depends how much time and money you want to spend and what you expect back out of it. I would just make a Christmas "themed" site and try to source affiliate feeds on good gift ideas. Then perhaps have information on Christmas shopping itself in a separate section...tips about deals, blog, etc (if you want to expand on it).

I think it's one of those domains that should be given minimal development to take advantage of the traffic that will come during nov/dec. It should be optimized for the SE's to attract that traffic but beyond that I wouldn't spend any time on it. It's too limited!
Unique gifts would work the best.

Does it get type in traffic at all?

An affiliate site would be a great use with I guess some adsense and a few tips (articles) on saving money while shopping for Christmas.

By the way great name though.

Thank you. Site is already up. I just need to add custom widgets and a few adsense units and I'll be all done. As for traffic, I really don't know yet as I just bought it a week ago.

Well it's clearly a seasonal domain. A poor purchase in my opinion. It should have been developed weeks if not months ago rather then AFTER Christmas. Best of luck!
