Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I'm seeing this on a domain. As far as I can read it's saying the registrar is warehousing domains as it should have hit tbr after 30 days???
Domain status: auto-renew grace
Creation date: 2000/11/08
Expiry date: 2011/12/01
Updated date: 2010/12/02
If it was originally registered nov 8 then it should have expired on dec 8 and been in tbr long before this???
Or maybe I'm reading it wrong.

And the auto renew grace??
Under the new platform the domains are automatically renewed and the registrar has to drop them to get a refund.
Here is one of ours that is currently expired:
Domain status: redemption
Creation date: 2005/12/17
Expiry date: 2010/12/17
Updated date: 2010/12/18
I'm wondering if this is the period between the 30 days and 45 days they can hold them or?
Thanks. That makes sense now. The registrar is taking a full 45 days before issuing the delete command and it will run another 30 beyond when it hits redemption.
Whereas namespro hits the delete command upon expiry triggering the 30 days.
