I've caught on to DCG, he does these teaser posts that seem innocent enough, then reveals a big piece of information that you didn't expect.
Has there been a big .ca sale no one knows about yet?
I think the highest known sale so far is Jobs.ca - Poker.ca and Slots.ca didn't come close.
We don't know what CreditCards.ca sold for, but that was at least another six figure sale.
Here is some good posted sales data:

But Adam, are you buying or selling?
...
There looks to be a lot of action going on right now. It will be nice to hear one of these go public.
When the time is right I wouldn't mind doing a Q&A on this upcoming sale, if it's a big one, for my .ca blog.
Questions like how did the buyer approach you, how did the negotiations go, what the domain is being used for, etc.
Same goes for anyone else who has a high profile .ca sale, if you want to share contact me.

Sounds exciting.
I had a mid six-fig .ca sale collapse last fall. After literally years of nagging from the potential buyer, and then months of serious negotiations, we finally agreed to terms over the phone (thinking we just had legal paperwork to work out). But that dragged on too long and then the deal just never happened. Things changed for the buyer. So the longer it takes to close, the more likely something unforeseen can happen to make the deal fall apart. So if you actually _want_ it to happen, git'er done, sooner rather than later. I was actually kinda happy my deal fell apart, but not sure what your feelings are on this particular deal for you. Its always hard to part with a premium, its a bit like one of your children growing up and leaving home! (at least that's how I felt when I sold CreditCards.ca). I'm just glad it wasn't my "only child" so it was a bit easier to let it go.
Good luck with the sale, we'll all be interested to hear the details if they can be made public.
Rob
The suspense is killing me! Are there any minor details you can provide? How many characters we're talking here, etc?
Great to hear Adam. I think we all respect your privacy and will wait to hear the good news from you when it happens.
Cheers.

Congrats on the sale. Was the domain developed or parked?
Congrats Adam, I can't wait for the big reveal
(And if I sold you this name in the past, I get 50% of the profits rights?)
Interesting.. This domain will beat the current top reported .ca sale of $600k? I'm shocked but CONGRATS that is great news!
