This is something I am very curious about. Do chinese actually type in .com.cn? I was under the asumption that the Chinese have chinese letter keyboards. Therefor, you would actually want your domain to be an IDN. Is this correct?

no really, let's take an example, Sony uses all ccTLD in other countries except in China they use Sony.com.cn
