In a really nice dot info sale and the second highest reported weekly sale on DNjournal Dubai.info sold for $35,000

not a surprising sale at all
if i owned i wouldnt part with for much less, and would hope for more

dubai is exceptional, its stuffed to the rafters with trillions and theres a hell of a lot of interest in place. developed this could do awesome

then, it may get some real attention

for geo, .com best then .info imho

.info is perfect for this

the sales report was dire this week, so this stood out a little, think many have gone unreported this week also or just missed deadline. next week will be rocking im sure

A very nice domain but just if you're going to develop it, it was parked at sedo for a while last year (as far as I remember) and it did'nt get much traffic at all, the guy wanted around 25k for it at the time.

Nope, thats not true. He wanted 80k to 100k all the last 12 month. I worked on that price for many month, around 20th of Dec he suddenly went down with the price, seemed to badly need money. Sadly someone else bought then. Who ever bought it will have to spend some beers to me. Without my constant work the domain would never have been sold so cheap. Superhot domain, cheap price! I sold hotel.info for almost 300,000 Dollars 2008, and travel.info in 2007 for 116,000 Dollars. .info gets really strong, a good TLD.

Now I am curious how come the travel.info deal at $116,000 gained such publicity while I never even heard of hotel.info selling for nearly 3 times the price of travel.info.

Since you have gone public here with the amount do you have any documentation of this sale as it would easily be the highest recorded .info sale ever!

well, the new owner is hotel.de AG, they also operate hotel.at and hotel.ch. Its quite a large company, with 400 people. As standart policy they didn't published the deal. But in Germany anyway everyone knows about it.

hotel.info 300k
sex.info 200k (thats not mine)
travel.info 116k

BTW I am also the seller of the hotels.eu, 250k Euros back in 2006.

I like weired TLD's, they do not make you rich, but you can afford butter on your bread.....

It is a real shame deals like sex.info at $200K and hotel.info at $300K don't ever get reported. They are great deals and would really show the full potential of a premium dot info domain in our market.

Well, travel.info was a sedo deal and had been reported! sex.info dito:

Well, its the biggest .info sale I am aware of. Maybe there are bigger ones...

I'd never heard of the hotel.info deal either. It would be great for the extension as a whole if you could release some actual evidence to support your claim. Perhaps show DNJ the evidence, many people would appreciate it, me included!
