The new weekly domain sales report is out at
DNJournal.com. The first wave of completed sales from the recent Moniker.com/T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auction in New York just rolled in and the top sale on that list ranks as the 2nd biggest sale reported so far in 2007 at close to $2 million. Afternic.com/BuyDomains.com had the biggest non-auction sale with a blockbuster domain that commanded $500,000 (the 7th highest sale reported year to date). Sedo.com also managed to break through the Moniker/T.R.A.F.F.I.C. stranglehold on the top positions with a $150,000 sale.
Among the Global Contenders there was a tie for the top spot with a .net and a .org battling to a $75,000 draw and tying for the 4th biggest sale in that category on our Year to Date list.
This was .US week on the Country Code chart with America's ccTLD sweeping the top three spots and 6 of 14 entries overall. One buyer got a terrific buy in acquiring SanFrancisco.US. You can get all of the details here:
