Four Big Six-Figure Sales Lead New DN Journal Weekly Report - DNForum - Domain Sales, Domain Forum, Domain Appraisals, Domain Registrars

The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. Four big six-figure domain sales, totaling well over a million dollars, lead our new Top 20 chart. Sedo accounted for three of those sales including a pair of .coms at $365,000 and $360,000 respectively and a .net that ranks as the second biggest .net sale so far this year.

The fourth member of the new six-figure club was no slouch either, banking $250,000 in a private transaction. There was a lot of variety on the all extension chart with six non .com global TLDs and four country code domains joining 13.coms on the leader board (the three extra positions resulted from a four-way tie for the final spot). Great reporting as usual Ron. As I mentioned in another thread, even with all the complaints against Sedo, they continue to lead the market.

Who knows the new owner of Alice.com?
Looks like a TM domain to me.

Good week for Sedo, nice comissions for them. I wonder if any sale on here made the report (or did it list as a "private sale"?

Telefonbuch-Deutschland.de - nice .de sale fot $24K+.

It could be them but it is also a name so unless they use it to promote telephone services, then I think they might be fairly safe. Or else the new owner will be out $250K.

Alice is a also one of the biggest french DSL provider

(NEUF (neuf.com has been recently sold) was too)

the owner should sold it to them for $1M

Alice is a pure generic one word domain.

This all depends on how the domain is used. If it competes with the TM holder it might be in violation of their trademark. If not, it should be perfectly OK
