DNF$: 431 | Adam Congratulation, hopeful you can bring changes needed in the parking domain industry
Most small domainer are waiting for a good and transparent Parking Company in the same way adsense publisher waiting for Microsoft to start Adsence like program, Most small domain are not happy where they are right now, with you there I believe Godaddy can pull this off
We are not asking too much
Transparent on traffic and revenue
Ability to customize the page our self and choose keywords etc
Regular payment schedule if possible fortnightly will be great
Good Luck in your new position
anyway
If a remember while a go you start working with another Domain company, are you still with them too ?

Country: | A tasting option, where you can set some names in groups to be deleted if you do not want to keep them, simular to Dotcomgenie, I would be willing to pay for such a service. Ofcourse Bob won't like that as he is against kiting, but it is not kiting, if you do it only one time. |

DNF$: 929 | Adam, hope you can intro GoDaddy to IDN support and sales.
Also in the area of Parking as mentioned on post above. The company that can provide the service, trust, full disclosure of traffic, clicks, ad rates and provides "customizable" pages will capture the market.

Country: | While I'm happy for Adam, I can't help feeling there will be a conflict of interest with DNForum.com.
If I were Adam's boss, I certainly wouldn't want him giving space to competition on a website.
No, I think GoDaddy knew exactly what it was doing.
Just my 2 cents.

Country: | I believe this is a win-win situation for both parties.
GD may/will gain more clients by offering special deals to DNF members and at the same time DNF members will benefit from these deals.
It's called 'expanding the market'.

Country: | Good to know you're moving into that position Adam. It should be good for both dnforum and godaddy. Hopefully it will bring more members to dnforum and more security, support, and customer satisfaction to godaddy. Of the three I think security is the #1 most domainers are looking for and customer support runs a close second. Good luck to you. |

Country: | Just wanted to clear some things up.....
Adam is not going to be VP for ALL of Godaddy, just the Aftermarket business on GD. So talking about adding a Tasting section, or stuff about IDN's and parking is not realistic. Not that he can't mention it, but I'm just saying.
I do hope to see a vast improvement on TDNAM and the "so called" signature domain auctions... With the amount of customers GD has, they could very well be what the old Snapnames was.
Here is a link to the story from DNJ... http://dnjournal.com/lowdown.htm
Congradulations again Adam.

Country: | Thanks again for all thepositive feedback.
I know what domainers want and will move to implement quite a few things quickly.
After it's announced on the radio show, I can go into a bit more detail of what I will be running. I can tell you that aftermarket means everything after registration including the parking system.
I have ideas on a great domain name security system I will be working on that I know will make everyone feel 100% secure with their names and the transfer process.
Godaddy will drive traffic and resources to dnforum and dnforum will get major benefits from being associated with a true leader in the field.
This is win-win for all.

Country: | Regarding domain security I think a security key feature similar to paypals security key that I use. I always have the key with me so no one can log into my paypal account. In a similar fashion godaddy could implement this before any domain can be transferred out of my account the security key that is on my person should have to entered. Paypal charged me $5 for it I would not mind paying godaddy for the extra security.
just my 2cents

Country: | I think GoDaddy got a good deal, all of a sudden people here have started trusting GD, well we should expect some good GoDaddy codes and some insider views and answers, also thinking what lured Adam into this Job. |
