How NameMedia Is Rocking the Internet and Rolling Up the Domain Industry

The June Cover Story is out at DNJournal.com. A handful of well-financed new domain conglomerates are now busy reshaping not only the landscape of this industry but that of the entire media world. Using domain names as their attack vehicles, they have started a long march that could eventually leave them in command of the high ground in global advertising. Perhaps no company personifies the new wave better than Waltham, Massachusetts based NameMedia. Their management team is on the run 24/7 but we cornered five of their top executives to get the scoop on what is happening inside one of the domain world's hottest companies. You can read all about it here:
The NameMedia Story: How They Are Rocking the Internet and Rolling Up the Domain Industry

Also new at DN Journal is Vivian Tran's exclusive in-depth review of the recent DOMAINfest Amsterdam conference in The Netherlands. Vivian gives you a blow by blow description of all of the action at this highly anticipated European event and includes plenty of photos to put you in the middle of the action. Check it out here:
DOMAINfest Regional Conference in Amsterdam Proves to be a Dutch Treat for Domain Owners

But wait - that's not all. Our resident humor columnist Dear Domey has the inside story on Google Mind - the search engine giant's latest gambit in their continuing bid to take over the world! This one is sure to put a smile on your face and get your weekend off to a good start! See Dear Domey before we come to our senses and take it down!

Re: How NameMedia Is Rocking the Internet and Rolling Up the Domain Industry

Excellent read and thanks for posting this.

My first thought was basically an impulse reaction...WHERE DO I SIGN UP!

But I have read this hype before over the past year, three years, five years. Everyone is going to do it better than the other, than the next, and it will be bigger and better than ever and you'll see the highest returns...blah, blah, blah.

I will take the "Let's wait and see approach" as I am not new to any of this and yes, although credentials and experience is a factor in who is at the helm, it is still the same old story just a different title.
