DNF$: 5,746 Location: Florida | Kevin Ham's Prescription for Success: New May Cover Story at DN Journal The new May Cover Story is out at DNJournal.com. Kevin Ham is a name that everyone in this industry knows but only a handful of people really know the man. When you run a domain business that reportedly generates well over $1 million a week from various domain-related ventures and a portfolio of approximately 300,000 names, it is easy for the statistics to overshadow the human being behind them. Especially when that person is as humble and self-effacing as the 37-year-old Canadian doctor from Vancouver, Canada.
Despite all of his success, the domain business was actually a detour Ham took in an effort to realize other goals. We talked with him about how he got to where he is today and where he plans to go now that the financial obstacles that had blocked his dreams are out of the way. Ham also talks about what he thought of the Business 2.0 magazine cover story about him that made waves last summer. It is an entrepreneurial success story about the power of faith and love and the importance of family and friends - the things Ham believes really matter in life. You can read all about it here: http://www.dnjournal.com/cover/2008/may.htm

DNF$: 6,299 | I admire the respect and honor he has for his parents. He's such an humble person too. His brother Don is one of the nicest guys I've ever dealt with too. Down to earth people who are eager to help and to serve. |

Country: | Great article Ron, really enjoyed it. It is enlightening to read these types of Bio's. It is amazing how lucky we all get the harder we work as the good Doctor shows. |

Country: | Very interesting read, and I can see Kevin deserves his success so I don't hold the number of auctions he has outbid me or driven up the price of against him so much now

Country: | Fantastic job Ron!
Well written and a great subject to cover.
I got to hear Kevin at TRAFFIC in Vegas and was totally blown away with his speech.
I was really glad I crawled out of bed to go to that session. |

Country: | Very nice article, I love reading profiles on domainers like that.
I liked his comment that the business 2.0 article showed the money side of things, but not the person. The DNJ article clears that up.
Wondering too if there is a copy of his speech online somewhere. |
