What ever happened to Nelson Brady? Has a trial of some sort started yet?
I don't know what's happening now, but I wouldn't be surprised if he starts his own domain auction company, attends future domainer conventions, and has his auction results published in domain "news" site(s) along side the auction results of auctioneers who haven't been tainted yet by fraud or shill-bidding scandals. He'll probably be featured as a shining example of a domainer role-model, complete with pictures of him smiling and dining on steak dinners at every domainer convention. Domainers will eagerly participate in his auctions, even though he has an ethically-challenged past (alledgedly), because it's dog-eat-dog out there, and who cares if he ripped-off money from auction participants in the past, as long as he is selling the domains we want now.
He'll write a tell-all book eventually, and then a feature film will be made about his story, and after that he'll be offered a reality TV show, then his own talk show, and finally he'll be nominated to run for political office. That's America.
No, he won't be that important. He won't write a book, he won't be the subject of any film, he won't be offered a reality TV show. You're smoking crack if you honestly believe all of that. Outside of relatively small domain community, no one really cares. In fact, not many domainers care. Brady is just another tick/parasite who was feeding on sucker domain speculators. Snapnames enabled him, but they are given a pass by at least one domain website "news" publisher who licks the butts of everyone in the industry who can help artificially inflate the value of his portfolio. This industry is full of schmucks masquerading at conventions as knowledgeable domain panelists.
You think Snapnames, Oversee, etc. are going to press charges against him? Lol... if they do and he is charged and facing any time / big money fines, you can guarantee he is going to spew any other person(s) involved as well as other incriminating information. Do you really think Snapnames, Oversee, Moniker and any other affiliated companies would want this to come out? Come on now... better to lay low and hope everyone forgets and if any small lawsuits come in, pay them off with a NDA and keep doing what they do.
