DNF$: 5,790 Location: Florida | SnapNames Puts a Dozen Domains on New DNJournal Top 20 The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. The $9.5 million sale of Porn.com that we reported two weeks ago was completed this past week when the domain was transferred to the new owner's account at Moniker.com. That cleared the way for this name to take the top spot on both our weekly and Year-to-Date charts. SnapNames also shared the spotlight by snaring 12 of the 21 chart entries (there was an extra position due to a tie at #20 this week). Also noteworthy was the appearance of a Korean IDN (International Domain Name) in the #2 slot for the second week in a row.
.Net dominated the Global Contenders chart, piling up 14 of 20 chart positions and Great Britain's .co.uk sits atop the Country Code chart, however .de had the most entries by far on the ccTLD list, taking 9 in all. When you publish a drop and auction price, the DNJ page showing the transaction gets indexed in the search engines, so when somebody types in example.com, they learn of the transaction and what we paid, which creates problems in the negotiating.

All you have to do is let them know that is what you want and they won't report them to us.

And to be quite frank about this, it is our own business what we buy or sell. DNJ might consider seeking permision from whois information. With this thread DNJ has been informed of the publics concern to personal information being published and certainly have weight in future disputes of privacy.
I'll give notice here and now that DNJournal.com does not have permision to post a domain I have bought in the past, present and future.
There has been discussion here in the forum sometime last year with issue of posting snapnames final bid history openly for everyone to see at DNF. If I remember correctly the concensus was in the favor of privacy. At the time I didnt care much about this, but at this time I see Raiders point and thinking about it more on my own behalf I have to agree with the rest of the domainers.
