nuts!
waste of money
i bet only gets a few hits too. oh well, good for industry i guess
Thanks Duke!
Well sometimes when I see such sales i think about 3 things
1. Buyer and seller actually are same person ( company , sister company and ect ) and they are just reducing their income to avoid paying taxes
2. Clearing the dirty money
3. Too rich to be care about 260K - as for me it's obviously waste of money
see that Daytona . com went for just over $150 k... I would have expected that to sell for a lot more... seems like a good buy...
Wow, TarponSprings.com went for 1/3 its worth price.
That's why I started this thread - http://www.dnforum.com/f17/sales-rea...ad-317131.html
I find the .org sales interesting:
#6 Website.org - $30,545
#18 Irish.org - $14,826
Cheers Duke!

Important point!
Technically, it's Daytona Beach (which is fully developed), so Daytona while obviously nice is a bit less familiar. Kind of like Indy for Indianapolis, or Lauderdale for Fort Lauderdale.
If TripleCreditReport.com went for $260k, what would CreditReport.com pull?

If a domain is worth $180k why would you sell at $60k ?
Only if you need the cash and cannot find a buyer long-term.
TarponSprings.com was a flip. The domain had live content for 13 years prior to the flip. Check Archive.org
I think the reason is simple: too many selling venues have popped up. So the key to having high sales is reaching outside the known domainer universe![]()
TripleCreditReport.com ..... I am speechless!
