Does anyone know a good Auction Sniper for GoDaddy auctions?
There are several for eBay (software packages that allow you to bid at the last moment in auctions) but none for GoDaddy it seems. Anyone developing one? I live on the wrong side of the world and am tired to staying up late. Tips welcome.

If they offer API should be easy, if not you can always set proxybids
I have PM disabled. You can email me: denny startseek com
ThankYouDHL.com
I have tried to program one in the past. But it did not work due to some issues with GoDaddy, may be they have API that they can supply that might help out.

Enjoy and give me rep if you like.

There is tremendous needs for an auction sniper program:
1) It automates the process of bidding for you. So if you have many auctions you want to bid for that day, then instead of trying to manage all the auctions at once yourself--the program does that for you.
2) You can be somewhere else or do something else instead of being at your computer for 3-4 hours waiting for auctions to end.
3) By waiting to the last few seconds to bid, you don't tip off lazy domainers about your bids on domains.
4) Many many many more reasons...

When trying to download, it says :
"The compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted"
I do not see install files.
Plus, there appears to be 5 versions, none of which have install files.
Really, now wanting me to download .net framework (54mb) to open the application.
Can you let me know what OS and download settings you have? I just tested both the 32 and the 64 bit download and were able to uncompress them fine.
Bob
You should doubleclick on the AuctionSniper.msi file and it will start the installation process.
.NET Framework is required to use uSniper so you will need to install that from Microsoft.

Figured it out GB. Service packs must be updated. Thanks for the follow-up
okay, everything is set up and we'll see how it goes.
Actually had a domain closing today that I was mildly interested in so I'll see what happens.
Love FreshDrop and if this works out well I'll be tickled to death.
Let me know if and when you come up with an affiliate program.
Your products are awesome!

Thanks for everything Doc. FreshDrop affiliate program will launch very soon. We are just putting the final touches on it now.
As for uSniper, if you have any questions about it, feel free to post here and I will do my best to answer your questions.

A download like this was way too complicated and too many steps, imo, and frankly I just got lucky.
The help section is blank.
You should include a User's Guide on the app itself.
I thought I was creating an account with uSniper but actually was supposed to use TDNAM login.
I missed that in your .com post.
I ended up locking myself out of the GD/TDnam account.
Ease of use for us non tech heads is very much appreciated.
If possible, PM me or get me on a mailing list.
Doc,
Thanks for the feedback. Since your post, we have added installation instructions on the download page. As well, we will make a post on our forums page for uSniper located here: http://usniper.com/forum/index.php

Great tool(s) and very much appreciate the time to come on here and update.
UPDATE: 4:56 PM
Congrats to GorillaBob (and to me).
The first usage test worked, the app worked great, and I won the auction.
It is all about strategy and this little gizmo just helped me beat out 6 other bids.
Does this only work for GoDaddy?
What happens when all bidders use the tool?![]()
