Yes, but not recently - a couple of years ago they only used to have a couple of hundred thousand names in their inventory from their dropping names and individual domainers listings.
Then they started hooking up with large resellers and now they have millions of names listed. Therefore any names you list get a far lesser chance of being seen. I used to flip maybe 6-10 names a month in the high $xx to low $xxx region - now it's maybe 1 every couple of months.

I would say no too. The only activity I seem to see on GoDaddy auctions really is the EXPIRING domains. Nowadays I just tend to use forums and occasionally ebay to sell. DNforum is a great place to sell and very simple.
