What is up with majority of domainers online! I see all crap registered!!! Why would anyone buy 2-3 words .asia domains that have no market!!! The 2-3 words are not even a premium combination!

It's not cheap to register .asia - People just jump and reg crap with out thinking twice! This is why they keep introducing new extensions, cause there are a lot of rookies on board who make them rich!

Very true. I couldn't get the domains i wanted...so i ended up only getting 1. First and last .asia.

I agree with your concern. There is a learning curve to domaining and new domainers need to do their research before they get caught up in the excitement.

If people have got the money to reg a few, whats the problem?
Most of the premium generics are either sunrise or in the mutiple auctions.

I am sure people are buying a few and putting them away for a year just to see what happens.

I have had a couple of emails already from companies offering to sue me

so there must be "legs" in the extension

I am more amazed at the sales threads the same day it became available.

If I really, really, really, really wanted an asia, I would hand reg it.

And the appraisals requested?

I really think they don't want to know.

I agree with the original post, surprised at what some people are regging, and how much, at this early stage. I guess it's a good way to learn about domains, but it takes about one year when you're faced with the renewals.
