you need a CED ( Charter Elegibility Declaration ) - means a contact in asia to register - try eurodns as they cover it

Didn't know that. I'm guessing www.asiaregistry.com cover that formality?

Looks like .pro is going to be released for the general public appetite with no pre-qualification. I imagine .asia will follow suit in short order, thus lining the registrars' pockets. Also, I hope that I'm not bidding against a registry 'shill' when my .asia goes to 'auction'.

Anyone who has speculated on .asia domains must note that The country for your CED contact must be in the Asia Pacific region. Charter Eligibility Declaration Contact Information. That's what Rebel.com say.

It was posted here many times about CED - but yes the goalposts seem to change everyday and information is lacking, so nobody knows jackshit!! even the registers.

Well...i wasn't going to do it..but i ended up registering a .asia...i think it will be my only .asia. Considering it cost me $50 total (2 years).

It was ..my name .asia ...FINALLY! i actually am able to get my name.

and nothing happened

i wasn't able to see them in my portfolio

I'm still not sure which if any parking companies support .Asia.....You can see mine above, Parked free Courtesy of Godaddy doesn't even show any relevant ads.
