Well, you have to remember .Biz started 9 years ago and when there was A LOT LESS competition, so i don't think it is strange they have after 9 years 4024 sites in Alexa list - BUT .Me has ONLY been on market somthing like 6 months, and already .ME have 353 in top 1 million.
ME already have 353 websites in Alexa top 1 Milllion list!
.ASIA has 94 websites in top 1 million list (.Asia launched 2-3 month before .ME did!!!)
.Mobi has 252 websites in top 1 million list (.Mobi launched 2 years before .ME did!!!!).
It is simply super impressive that .ME already after only 6 month outbeat .Mobi even .Mobi started 2 years before .me.
I made ALLOT money on getting in at the right time and place
I am for sure buying a share in this new future .ME goldmine

Care to share your .me portfolio with us ? Just curious.
Let's agree .me will not kick .com out of the market. That's obvious.
.me is the only domain hack that is natural. Think about Sony's like.no.other. Now think Montenegro.Sun.Me, Volvo.MyCar.Me, etc. Let's call them not hacks, but jingles. A proper name indeed.
Pizza.com is worth more than pizza4.me but puzza4.ws is worth nothing.
Pizza4.me may become a good brand, as any noun4.me and verb.me. verbed.me, verbing.me may be a waste of money, may be not.
The next logical hack, sorry jingle, is .ly, quick.ly, week.ly, sure.ly, etc.
Also: .com is very American thing. Europeans and Asians find .me fascinating.
Brands-and-Jingles did a lot of research. You can find all the up-to-date industry analysis and trends on their blog:

You forgot .us![]()
.us is indeed jingling too, although marketeers strongly prefer .me
.us doesn't create that strong association to the product - if at all.
It is either "4u" or "4me" that ring the bells. Not that many people care about "4us", alas.

.me has a long way to pass over most gTLD, sure.ly.
It is already ahead of .asia and is catching up with .name and .travel.
Give it another year or three and it will match .mobi, .biz and .tv very easi.ly.
That's it. .me has no chance of getting over .com, .net, etc.
Also: Chinese are registering tonnes of .me - any idea why?
Source: http://dot-me.of-cour.se/2009/01/28/...ous-languages/
And more importantly - when will they stop buying?... With some billion of Chinese kids behind the screens, one should worry that there will be no .me left by 2010.
Why don't they buy .asia??? Any Chinese domainers here to crack this puzzle?

DOMAIN FEST results :
Contact.me sold for $10K
Alert.me sold for $11K
Save.me sold for $5K
Anything else to say?
Even .com names did not reach those amounts at Domainfest.
.com get ready as .me is going to take the lead and this comes from European companies not from good ol' US companies.
vbruno, agree, premium and jingling .me guarantee marketeers better recall rate.
This is why people are ready to pay more for them.
PS: where did you get the sale numbers from?
Cheers!
I just followed the live auction and took note of .me sales compared to .com sales.
3 .me sold out of 4 listed.
.com sold = almost nothing
Many thanks indeed.
So what about feed.me and read.me then also admire.me and undress.me?
