Well i will atleast make 20 sites with .Me.
They have a great future.
I also just talked to GoDaddy they said .Me was still the domain they selling most of together with .com
Quite amazing! and even more amazing when one think it cost $20 to register a .me name now!
The peaple that are saying .me dont have any future are the ones that missed out on buying them when there was tons of good .me names.
They sold 100.000 .me domains fist 14 days. Godaddy sold 20.000 fist 24 hous and that was a wold record:
On July 17, 2008. DOT .ME domains became open to all, and with no restrictions. During the first two days (July 17 and July 18) the .ME registration broke records. GoDaddy.com processed over 20,000 domain names in the first 24 hours of registration which is definitely a record for the company.
According to Bob Parsons, founder and CEO of Internet giant GoDaddy.com, "To the best of our knowledge, there have never been more registrations handled in one day during the ordinary course of business by any registrar in history."
pressebox) 05.08.2008 - The .ME Registry announced today it has registered more than 100,000 domain names. This milestone comes a little more than two weeks after opening for live, real-time registrations by the general public.

It looks like every newborn TLD has cheerleaders and prophets doing the PR job.

History does not always repeat itself.
Sometimes it does something new.
Look at Michael Phelps, for example.
No one has ever done what he has.
OK I stand corrected
"History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme."

"Mark Twain would have registered a .me if he were alive today."
