Eveybody will be able to bid on the premium auctions It is only a matter of time before we will see a dot .me domain that score six figure bids "very likely" in the premium .me domain auction.

Yes i am seeing more and more real website on the net.
But you have to keep in mind, that .me domains are ONLY 2 month old and the premium dot .Me domains are fist up for auction sale later this september, so its fist when the premium :me are sold, we really will start see the very big .ME sites show on the net.
Sales of me domains at GoDaddy and other register are going fantastic.

I think we will see some of the 2000 premium .me domains on next auction go for 6 figures - .Me means the same in Spanish and Italien as in English!
Plus .Me has no registration rules everybody can registrate them.
If you look at .US , Ca, .EU they all have registration rules and will therefor never be a international good domain name.

Plus .Me has had world record registration sales.
and how many 2 letter domain extensions are out there and same time means somethink like .Me do??:

Plus .Me VERY easy to remember and brand.

The survival of an extension is not based on what you or I think will happen. There will be those who think it will succeed, and those that think it will flop. It will all depend on the marketing done for the extension, but mainly the number of developed functional sites that are created.

Wither is .me, .mobi, or .asia, any extension can be of interest if development ideas are put into action. It doesnt take something great, or perfect to be picked up by the general public... All that needs to happen is for them to become aware of it.

Same goes for any extension. If you are a reseller, and you hoard names and dont do anything with them, your only hurting your own cause. Development of a certain extension will have a lot of impact on its value in the future.

I am not a .me supporter, and have not purchased any. I personally believe that the more extensions that are created, the harder it will be for a large portion of that specific extension to have developed functional sites.

It will be a huge succes but will take litle time they just started 2 months ago selling .Me - and the Premium .Me are not even sold yet.
I have got quite a few offers already on some of mine .Me domains and the more peaple that gets to know .Me the higher valued they will get.
You dont need to be very smart to know how good a name like Loan.Me or Insure.me or Date.Me is for branding - It's simply some of the best!

You almost sound like one that did not get on the .Me train in time and nervous .Me will become a hit. I am sorry if you did not get any .Me domains.

If it is true that almost every .Me buyer are resellers
then must be hell of allot resellers/domain experts that think .Me will be a super good investment. -
As you know there was a record sales of .Me domains:

On July 17, 2008. DOT .ME domains became open to all, and with no restrictions. During the first two days (July 17 and July 18) the .ME registration broke records. GoDaddy.com processed over 20,000 domain names in the first 24 hours of registration which is definitely a record for the company.

According to Bob Parsons, founder and CEO of Internet giant GoDaddy.com, "To the best of our knowledge, there have never been more registrations handled in one day during the ordinary course of business by any registrar in history."
