.me worth buying or not?

Should we buy .me domains or not? Do they have any value ? I mean for any terms in google I rarely see .me domains in SERPs.

What is your opinion folks about .me domains.

as far as the Google indexing, i think .me is not old enough to show up in numbers. i have seen a few come up now and again though.

Is there any data or info that .me were sold for a good price. I found few single word generic .me domains but I am not sure if I should register them or not?

I recently enetered into domaining and seems exciting. I had few registered for a while almost 1-2 years and I think that they will get good money over a period of time.

For development why not.
For resale you need to be selective. There are not so many combos that will do great.

Funk.me features .me sales but they are unverified and IMO some are too good to be true.
I would take them with a pinch of salt. Actually I wonder if the owner of that site is not playing with figures to boost sales.

If you're new in this business I would say don't get sucked into believing the new extensions are the way to riches. Domaining can be very rewarding but it is a tough game. Good luck.

Look at the price tag and there you have your answer:

tThe word luv in combination with .me made the sale vs. the .me extension in itself.

So not sure "there you have your answer" applies outside of this sale.

LUV (LLL) in any extension might get the same looks and results.

I would imagine that this is the ultimate vanity plate email address out there and I can see why this would go high...
