Adsense vs. Parking

I have about 800 domains that are parked and only the ones I've taken the time to optimize correctly are getting any clicks.

I'm using trafficz (which could be the part of the problem...? ) which has a nice web 2.0 template that you can customize in a number of ways. Problem is it takes an hour or so to do an excellent job, maybe longer if your adding or writing content, and setting up custom links. Examples: wisconsin-cheese.com & mybeats.net

I got to thinking and instead of just "parking" these domains why not try adsense. I make a hell of a lot more with that program than I ever have parking. I put this site together today -- Model.me™ (it took about 2.5 hours in total; or about twice as long).

My guess is the Model.me site will make much more with adsense than it did with Traffic Z. I'll soon find out.

What are all of your experiences with Adsense (or yahoo ads, kontera etc.) vs. Parking sites?

I'm also guessing many/most of you don't spend near an hour or 2.5 hours for that matter when parking. But if you did, what route would you lean towards?

I'm an SEO, so if the domains don't get hits from type-ins or misspellings the only way I know how to get hits is to get it ranked in one or all of the SEs.

What other avenues are out there while looking for potentional buyers?

Agree more or less with what you posted.

The optimization is quite time consuming but does increase the revenue. Unfortunately I have not spent as much time as needed on it myself.

Also agree without parked page natural typeins, doing a website and getting it listed in the SE (and establishing links and other SEO work) is probably the only way to get future traffic.

Not sure about other avenues.

Adsense is much better.

e.g. one of my domain earns $1/day when parking (400 daily typein traffic), and now it earns around $4 - $9 per day from adsense with 1k daily traffic (SE traffic are increasing).

AdSense for sure bro.

Then you'd actually have a "real" site too. You can customize to exactly how you want everything.

Direct Adsense can outperform parking, but you should also consider targeted CPL/CPA ads.

Few questions;

1. What are "CPL/CPA ads" ?
2. Is there anyway to give say a thousand domains content to satisfy adsense
easily ?.
3. What is best way to ensure Adsense application is approved.

Thanks
DG
