Just wondering if someone else had some bad experiences with Alice's Registry (AR.COM)..
I have tried to transfer one of my names away from them (Don't want to pay $29 for a year renewal !) but the transfer got denied. This can have multiple valid reasons however, they have sofar not replied to any of my 5 attempts to contact them !!
The domain name in question is soon to expire and I'm getting desperate now as I either have the choice of paying there extortionate high fee or loosing the name but they don't allow me to transfer it away !! What can I do in a situation like this ? Should I register a complaint with ICANN about this useless outfit ?

They seem really shoddy. I just bought a domain from another party and he was to turn the account over to me. I tried changing the account registrant and owner info, but it would not allow it at all. I am awaiting the domains transfer now to a wwd account and it's been over a week already eventhough the other party approved the transfer.
They caught voiceoverip.com recently.
Dropking used it for some time. Did get also some domain`s from them. I always managed to transfer out.
I think now they are with pool?

Really frustrated with this registrar. I picked up a good dictionary .net from pool and it ended up here. When I go to the website to login and click the login link the page won't even resolve! So lame... any suggestions?
