Any Benefit to becoming a CIRA Member?

Just wondering if there is any benefit to becoming a CIRA member.

What are your thoughts?

You get to vote the lazy asses into cushy jobs - that's about it. One of these years all of us domainers have to get together before the vote and nominate one of our own and ALL vote for that person.

Thats excactly what I was thinking. doesn't seem worth it other than perhaps giving your websites an extra bit of "status"

Seems like a waste of time.
