Would you trade your virginity (assuming you still had it) (specification is not neccesary) for a domain like home.com or md.com?

I wouldn't think twice about it. For Home.com I would've chopped off one of my fingers with a kitchen knife, I wouldn't even hesitate about it.

I mean .. What's coolest; having 10 fingers, or owning Home.com? Easy choice.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere from Adam Dicker (and he's here to verify it) and other places that those type of names make more money on plain simple parked pages than they would being developed. Plus I believe when you got big names like that you make special deals with google or any add provider for more money in PPC with special treatment like having them hot linked ect...
