Shit, not only that, but the little scammer was "working" CTI.com as recently as last week. Permanent ban, or a very, very long vacation is definitely in order. This behavior is completely unacceptable. Not like it was an accident.

Attempts to scam members should not be taken lightly especially when it involved multiple names, multiple attempts, and multiple members.

The end result should have been a permanent ban.

Actually the guy is to be congratulated. He brought the concept of 'futures' into domaining. Wall Street traders aren't any better, selling contracts on assets that don't exist. He should work for Goldman Sachs

Acro does have a point... As a matter of fact, I'm working a portfolio deal and want to include somebody else's domain in that deal. If the portfolio sells in xyz timeframe, he gets paid, if not, we go our separate ways. The difference is that this is with his permission and the prospective buyers' knowledge. This guys was pulling a scam.

Obviously, I was being sarcastic. Anyone pledging to buy something via a contract has to first come up with the funds or a pledge of equal value, before they attempt to resell it. E.g. Pool lost $36,000 from the non-sale of Airtel.com
