No ICANN accredited registrar charges for transfers out. They can, however, make it harder for you to move domains away from them.

As a sidenote, if the auction is at Namejet for an expiring domain at NetSol, if you transfer it out within the first two months of winning the auction there will be no year added to the registration.

No, simply you don't get an extra year added to the expiration date; it's already there once you win the auction.

The one catch with netsol, I think you need to transfer away at least 1 week before expiry, otherwise they deny the transfer.

And they are very good at playing games regarding domain transfers. I have one I have been trying to get out of there now for 1 month. They blame the receiving registrar and the
receiveing says it's their fault.
