What's the benefit of this? Why don't you just get one yourself from eNom?

    Here are the details, cj

    eNom Technology Partner Agreement

    A. eNom Technology Partner
The parties agree that _______________________________ hereinafter referred to as E.T.P., shall become an independent reseller of eNom on the terms and conditions set forth in this Technology Partner Agreement (this "Agreement"). E.T.P. wishes to provide domain name registration services for its customers utilizing eNom as the ICANN-accredited registrar.

E.T.P. agrees to the terms of (1) eNom's Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy, and (2) eNom's Registration Agreement, both of which are expressly incorporated in this Agreement. The two agreements referenced in this section are available on eNom's website, www.enom.com, and are subject to modification as described therein. E.T.P. agrees to require each of its customers to enter into these two agreements with eNom prior to submitting a domain name registration request

See Appendix A for domain name registration fees.

    D. Term of Agreement and Termination
This Agreement is effective for a period of one year from the date of execution by eNom. This Agreement may be renewed for an indefinite number of one-year terms at the option of either party. Either party upon at least thirty (30) days' written notice may terminate this Agreement. eNom also retains the right to terminate this Agreement immediately if E.T.P. fails to comply with any term or condition of this Agreement, or if eNom, in its sole discretion, deems such termination necessary to investigate or resolve any complications arising from the transfer process as contemplated by this Agreement.

    E. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential and not disclose the terms of this Agreement without prior written consent. eNom also agrees to keep confidential E.T.P’s confidential business and technology information other than account registration information set forth in this Agreement (including eNom's Registration Agreement) and other information eNom, in its sole discretion, deems necessary to effectuate transfers, investigate or implement any policing activity or otherwise achieve the legitimate business purposes of this Agreement. The obligations of this section shall not restrict any disclosure by either party pursuant to any applicable law, or by order of any court, government agency, or ICANN and shall not apply to information that is independently developed by the disclosing party or is publicly known.

    F. Indemnification
E.T.P., at its own expense, will indemnify, defend and hold harmless eNom and its employees, directors, officers, representatives, agents and affiliates, against any claim, suit, action, or other proceeding brought against eNom based on or arising from any claim or alleged claim (i) relating to any product or service of E.T.P.; (ii) relating to E.T.P.'s domain name registration business, including, but not limited to, E.T.P.'s advertising, domain name application process, systems and other processes, fees charged, billing practices and customer service; provided, however, that in any such case: (a) eNom provides E.T.P. with prompt notice of any such claim, and (b) upon E.T.P.'s written request, eNom will provide to E.T.P. all available information and assistance reasonably necessary for E.T.P. to defend such claim, provided that E.T.P. reimburses eNom for its actual and reasonable costs. E.T.P. shall not enter into any settlement or compromise of any such indemnifiable claim without eNom's prior written consent, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. E.T.P. shall pay any and all costs, damages, and expenses, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys' fees and costs awarded against or otherwise incurred by eNom in connection with or arising from any such indemnifiable claim, suit, action or proceeding.

    G. Independent Contractors
The parties to this Agreement are independent contractors and shall have no right or authority to bind or commit the other party in any way without the other party's express written authorization to do so. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be deemed or construed to create for any purpose an employer/employee, joint venture, partnership, or agency relationship between the parties.

    H. Assignment
Both parties agree not to assign, transfer, or otherwise dispose of this Agreement or any of its rights, benefits, or interests under this Agreement without written consent. All pricing plans are subject to the following:
    • * Names have a 2 year minimum registration period at this moment
    • All prices are in US dollars and are the complete fee to register a domain name. There are no "hidden" fees to any other parties because as an ICANN accredited registrar, we have a direct connection with the registry. eNom reserves the right to charge for additional services.
    • The .com .net .org registry requires at least an initial 1-year registration period.
    • . TV and .WS have a category of domain names called "Premium Names" which have a different pricing structure. We currently do not register these names.
    • The registry stipulates that domain name transfers are the same as new one-year name registrations. Transfers add 365 days to the time remaining on the registration.
Exception: The Registry will not add a year if the domain is transferred within the first 45 days of the extended/renewed year.
    • The price is for a domain name registration in the corresponding registry.

    Hello cjmacd,

As enom partner, we can offer you 50% off refill requirement for $6.95 account. If 6.95 still expensive for you, I suggest to get the $7.95 account where we offer 50% off refill requirement.

All services offered as enom provided.

Let me know if you are interested, send me email to discuss.

    Thank you,

Problem is, I hear its not as secure as having your own. I could be wrong, but I'm paranoid about the security of my domains.

    Mole,

Your domain name is secure as you were directly working with Enom.

Being a reseller, you have to establish good working relationship to your clients (reseller). Weather you earn cents for every registration or not. Trust over the Internet will take some time, especially to partners client relationship.

Our business model is the same business model 2 years ago and we intent to remain this business approach in another 10 years to come.

    Cheers and keep in touch,

I second this and would like to add that even if your parent reseller goes belly up, your own account is safe -transfered to Enom as a direct reseller.

Also, a parent cannot delete a child reseller account if there are any active domains in it. Enom software just doesn't allow it, so you can rest assured & safe if your parent reseller goes postal....

The only weak point of security is that the parent reseller will know what domains the child reseller owns

Only if the child reseller keeps the domains in that account. Nothing wrong with creating a sub account and 'hiding' them.

    cjmacd,

I would like to add that Parent Resellers can raise your prices. It would be reputation-suicide, but they can do it.
