Great sale. Farm Bureau should have asked for more.
Ooo, Aaa...that's sweet!
Wonder when Google will try to go for single letter 'g'. Bet ICANN would cave into them.
It's nothing from fb.

This news is great to help introduce domaining to those who still don't know much about it.
In my local markets I'm constantly talking domains and this re-enforces and continues to legitimize domain sales.
Thanks for sharing
That's babkis, if u compare to 37.5 that apple paid for iphone
Recipe for wealth - own the acronym for the world's largest social networking site before it's created. lol

Sweet sweet sale
completely agree - they left some serious cash on the table. you have to consider all of their existing customers that were using FB.com to get to the Farm Bureau, those customers are now lost and redirected to facebook - this may create some customer dissatisfaction. if i owned FB.com and it was a developed site, i would not have sold for less that $25mm
fb is the acronym initials for IPO, and global free email service for facebook members. It is planned. Even 85m, facebook will buy it, unless they want to buy fb.co for $800. Epic pwned or epic win? You decide.
Now that the American Farm Bureau is richer and sold fb.com to facebook, maybe they'll buy afb.com with their new wealth? =P
i once tried to barter for FB.com. I offered them some farming domains. Related to global warming, I believe. They turned me down, can you imagine that!![]()
haha, I can't imagine, ksinclair! You offered them a good deal!
IMO it's a very nice sale for a LL. Most would sell for low/mid-6 figures.
And it's not because facebook is valued (virtually) at some very high amount that they have the cash sitting in their bank account![]()
