Has GoDaddy scrapped Paypal payments ??

Just gone to reg a couple of names today, and it seems the PayPal option for payment is no longer there.

Tried a few times, and couldnt find it.

Anyone else notice this, or I am just having a bad computer day ??

Don't know Alex, but when it was there it never worked for me anyway -- problem with their payment gateway I think.

Well I just had a look at their "Payment Options" page, and I cant find any mention of Paypal, yet they still have the "We Now accept Paypal" banner at the bottom of the screen.

    WHo knows ???

Another thread ive seen elsewhere mentioned the gateway problem. They are having problems with it. A user on another forum contacted tech support and was told there working on it. So its definately due to come back into action, although they couldnt give a timeframe.

I've registered about 25 names since last night and the option was there and now it is gone. I use my credit card anyways so no biggie.

RegisterFly temp. also has no PayPal payment option. That's been going on for a while there now, and last week they said they hoped to have it back by this week. We'll see...

Paypal is 9% of their sales, according to the speaker at Domain Roundtable, so unlikely they would eliminate it.

Yeah, they have their problems, but it does make things easier, I buy the majority of my domains with it.

Don't use it then. Only reason I have it is to purchase over ebay and to accept payments. I am waiting for Google to come out with their system and I will use them too. Purchasing names I prefer the old credit card.

Paypal has been re-added to the checkout page.
