Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!Back in 2005 I purchased a .co.uk domain name from someone and they pushed the domain name into my GoDaddy account by changing the email address to mine. But, today I realized that the email, address, phone, etc. are mine, but it still has the previous registrants name. I tried to change the name and it will not let me... it says "Changes to the registrant's First Name, Last Name, or Organization are not allowed for the selected domain extension"
Can someone please help.
Thanks!
It costs around 75 quids to transfer .co.uk ownership if I recall correctly.

Transfer
If you no longer require your domain name, you may wish to transfer it to another party.
If you want to initiate the registrant transfer process, you will need to log in to your Online Services account and select the 'Registrant Transfer’ service. Please note that this service will cost £10 plus VAT, which can be paid by either the current or new registrant.
More information on chargeable transfers is available. There are also a variety of changes that can be made to the legal registrant's details that do not incur a charge.
If the registrant transfer also requires a registrar change, please be aware that a registrar can select a registrar change policy, which relates to whether the registrar accepts registrar changes or not.
Please note that if you want to change your registrar there is a different process that you will need to follow.
