If you are an SEO expert of close to that it does not matter.
If you are SEO dummy (having exact search does not help either)
if you know little bit of SEO having Google Exact Search would help
Google is getting smart every day - Having good content and Google Exact Search + SEO will be the best case .

The reason i was asking about exact searches is because i have a name that has 4,090,000 exact global searches a month.

That's a terrific start......It means that a lot of people type the term into Search Engines every month, looking for something related to that term...
However, it only translates into value, if:
(i) Many people actually type in the term, with extension (most likely with .com extension) - so, they come directly to your site, or parked page.
(ii) When the searcher arrives at their Search Engine front page (or, early pages), and can see your site listed there (whatever the extension), you have a chance they will click on your link, and visit your site.....Getting your site onto the front page of search engines is about great content, good SEO, and lots of links to your site...
So, a popular term opens the door....but, its not the max value in a name, itself.....What you do with the name is.
