I can see why this looks bad, but meh... I doubt he can see other users max bids, or bidding info, etc.
But meh, Adam? lol...

Heaven forbid an employee try to spend money on their own company.
Gee, driving up the price on auctions you didn't win? Are they going to complain about everyone who bid in auctions and didn't win then?
I'd love to hear that complaint: "All these people bid on the domain and didn't win so I should get it for the opening price".

lol, exactly... I think its a poor argument / attempt at trying to make GoDaddy / Adam look bad...
yeah that's why i always wondered why there is thread after thread with members moaning about how snapnames and namejet bump up their prices through employees.

I don't know anything of snapnames, been there a couple times ~ but one thing is an employee intentionally running up bid amounts with no intention of buying [dont know, nor believe this is true] and another is a employee bidding on the domain to actually buy it.
From what I have seen with Adam's names / portfolios, I doubt he needs to pull a shady stunt like whats been described... it's not even close to being worth it.
I think it is just some bitter buyers who wanted to get a domain and it was bidded up out of their budget... and it probably frusterated them even more if Adam didn't win it...

Many members have concerns with snapnames and namejet by the looks of it.
